LAMINATED BRIM
All those meticulously designed patterns and multi-layer construction need something to give it shape. The laminated brim must stay intact and not collapse, crush or crease when being compressed, and still bounce back after being packed.
COMPRESSION SYSTEM
The compression system works in conjunction with a stovepipe shape to do two crucial things: first lock the hood into position, and then allow your head to twist and turn without obstructing your view.
